I had the Schnitzel as a starter, followed by the roast Cornish cod and the buttermilk pud. with raspberries (see the lunch menu).
It was very good indeed, whilst your charges are more than reasonable!!
Will recommend you to my friends!
What more can I say.

The main course was a duo of venison, roe and fallow, and having been a tiny bit unsure of venison beforehand I'm happy to report I'm converted!! Fabulous evening, lovely staff and a really cheerful, warm atmosphere on a horrible rainy evening! I just cannot recommend you all highly enough.

The atmosphere in the Harwood Arms is exquisite and romantic with tasteful decor. The food was absolutely divine. I had the duck and Adam had the Deer and we were pretty much eyeing each other's plate but not willing to give up our own, ha! For dessert, I had the Orange marmalade donuts with cream and he had the Vanilla Rice pudding and it was joyous to say the least! According to Adam, '' There is no better food than a simple meal, served in a special way with a bit of extra preparation and taste.''
GOOD JOB!!!

The food was inspired (the Gresshingham duck was amazing!) and the atmosphere warm and friendly. We look forward to returning soon.

It is a relaxed and pleasing atmosphere pub, a local gem in a quiet street. The food was great with a good choice and reasonably priced, so was the service. The wine selection is also good. A place to go back to again and to recommend. .Well deserved Michelin star.

Sometimes it is inadvisable to over-anticipate a meal, but everything about The Harwood exceeded expectation. The welcome from the staff was incredible, they didn't flicker when I said that we would be two more people than the original 13 that the table was booked for, and the whole lunch was incredible. It was an incredibly relaxing place to go and I cannot wait to return for more of the same! Thank you, thank you, thank you Harwood for making a special day unforgettable.

I had the Pheasant kiev and he had the Cod, we shared crispy garlic potatoes and a bottle of Chilean Merlot. The food and the service were exceptional and this restaurant represents exceptional value for money. Thank you for a lovely evening
